As Yonex’s No.1 spin racket, the new VCore features high trajectory spin that allows the drop and bounce of the ball on greater scale, which allows players a wider range of strategic and aggressive game play.
Featuring Yonex’s unique “Isometric” technology, the frame consists of a 7% enlarged sweet spot compared to a conventional round frame. The new enlarged wide frame top increases the ball contact area by 1.9% and enables more string flex, forming a better launch angle and higher ball flight trajectory. New Silicone Oil Infused Grommets with high lubrication help strengthen the string flex, allowing rapid snapbacks and dynamic spin.
Furthermore, reducing the beam by 0.5mm in the frame top brings minimal air resistance, enhancing the swing speed. These technologies have increased overall performance, with net clearance by 3.6% and spin by 1.8%. High-trajectory spin ball reduces unforced errors around the net, allowing a strategic play with more aggressive rally.
Yonex are by far the most consistent frames on the market and with good reason. Their quality control and weight tolerance is exceptional. If you have ever suffered from tennis elbow, then Yonex should be your first choice as they offer a bigger sweet spot and have less vibration that runs through to your arm and been manufactured in Japan, you will not find better made frames.
Frame Structure and Shaft Design: A thinner beam, new throat design, and wider frame top create a manoeuvrable, stabilised racket with a higher launch angle to increase top spin.
Vibration Dampening Mesh: A stretchy mesh material is wrapped around the graphite within the grip to filter unwanted vibrations.
Aero Fin: Aerodynamic fins that were featured in the VCore SV have also been upgraded and positioned towards the bottom of the VCore’s frame. The new Aero Fins are strategically carved out sections that allow for improved manoeuvrability.
Aero Trench: To achieve faster head speeds for increased spin potential, the new Aero Trench reduces drag by uniquely hiding the grommets located at the top of the racket frame.
