My Wife Jo and I opened Nick Rivett Sport 9 years ago. My childhood dream was to own a sports shop. My career has always followed this dream, qualifying as an accountant to becoming a retail accountant to becoming a retailer. We love our shop and even 9 years on I get a buzz from our products and our customers I always have and I know I always will. No two days are ever the same! Our mission has always been to find the right product for the right person. Its simple and means we really get to know our customers and their sports. Over the years I've raced many a marathon and dabbled with Half Iron man whereas these days sport has turned into health and lifestyle - living the best version of myself for as long as possible, a journey of continuous learning.

Nick and I walked away from our London Careers in 2010 and followed our passion for retail and sport and opened Nick Rivett Sport. As a former retail buyer with over 20 years of retail experience, I guess I am all things Nick Rivett Sport from the management of the day to day, buying with Nick to developing our online store. I love evolving our brand and feel grateful that we work in such a vibrant, youthful and inspirational environment! I feel very fortunate to have the job that I do and I love delving deeper with our customers to I understand their whole picture and how I can use my experience and knowledge to help them in the best possible way. My passions are a simple life of movement, health optimisation and learning. Above all, a day in the countryside with Nick and our daughter Betsy and our best pals is a day well spent.

I am sometimes known as the nerd in the shop when it comes to our products, with running shoes and everything badminton related being my main focus. You might see me around the badminton courts of Brighton with my team: the Stanford Penguins, whom I play for in the local leagues.

I am a big believer in the good that any form of sport can do for you both physically and mentally, with training for the Brighton marathon helping me keep sane through my third year of university study! In my downtime, I love being outside either up on the South Downs or down at the beach. I am also one of the biggest dog lovers you will meet, so feel free to bring your four legged friends into visit us as well!

I'm a big believer that keeping active, listening to your body and having a positive outlook is key to keeping healthy. I mainly keep fit through swimming, having recently got back into competitions and qualifying for the Masters Nationals. I also enjoy running and have completed the Brighton Marathon four times.

Away from sport & the shop, I work as a freelance illustrator and enjoy reading & cooking. I'm also a fountain of useless trivia so feel free to test me on it if you visit us in store!

Even since I was a child sport has been a huge passion and a major part of my day to day life. Football, Rugby, Running and Tennis are all sports that I have been involved in throughout my life at a competitive level, with tennis being my main focus now.
I am currently in my final year at BHASVIC college where I am doing an Extended Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science. After BHASVIC, I plan to study and play tennis in America. I have just recently been confirmed a place at Averett University, Virginia.

I am a GB tennis player and have played internationally. I have played tennis since the age of 6 and I first started playing for my county at 7. At age 11 I first represented Great Britain and have done so since on numerous occasions. I also love to coach juniors at my local tennis Pavilion and Avenue. My goal is to study at University in the USA and become a pro tennis player.

I currently play tennis at Pavilion & Avenue tennis club in Hove and I play football. I am a tennis head and so when anything new comes in, I must know everything about it!
I believe that sport is a great way to spend free time and to remain active and healthy. I am currently studying Maths, Economics and Psychology at Newman.
