STORE MANAGER 

We are currently recruiting for a vibrant store manager to join our family business and supportive team. We are a fast paced specialist environment with huge opportunity for growth.

STORE MANAGER – NICK RIVETT SPORT

  • Location: Hove
  • Hours: Full time 37- 40 hrs p/wk. (Inclusive of a Sunday and occasional Saturday)

Job Description

You will be managing and working alongside a small sales team and also the owners, who you will meet with and report to regularly.

We are looking for an outgoing, personable and confident person who can interact happily with customers and co-workers, whilst maintaining an eye for detail regarding the general management and efficiency of the store.

Given the size of the store and nature of the job this means that alongside the day to day management there will also be potential to be involved with other areas of the store including strategic planning and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

Sales – Commercial focus to drive sales. Planning and executing sales targets.

Specialist customer service – ability to communicate effectively with customers and to maintain and develop relationships with regular customers.

Product knowledge – we offer a wide range of specialist product, our skills lie in our specialist knowledge and advice, full product and company training will be given. We do ask for a passion for sports and product and a willingness to develop product knowledge and understanding.

Strategic opportunities – willingness to work with our team to develop new areas of our business. New initiatives, clubs, online platforms.

Stock – Manage deliveries and upkeep of stock inventory with precision.

In store – Oversee store operations and ensure cleanliness, presentation and service standards are met at all times. We are a fast-paced environment and offer specialist services, as such our shop floor needs to be handled with care and efficiency

Issues – Oversee customer requests/complaints/issues and communicate with brands regarding faulty products or customer issues.
