Who are we;

We are an independent stringing school based at the home of Nick Rivett Sport, Hove an independent specialist sports store specialising in racquets and running. String school was born from our 13 years of racquet stringing experience and the desire to share our skills and passion in a modern, forward thinking way with those who wish to learn to string their own racquets, racquets of their children or string for people at your local club.

At string school we offer a 1 day stringing course that will equip you with all of the skills needed to be able to independently string a racket by the end of the one day course.

Our courses are either 1-1 or 1- 2 (maximum) to ensure we give you our full attention and you are able to achieve the most during the 1 day of training. 

On completion of the course you will receive a complimentary string SCHOOL starter pack.

After the one day course, we want to SUPPORT YOU and offer you a FREE one hour follow up zoom call at a time of your choosing. This session is to ensure you feel comfortable and safe in your new knowledge ready to embark on your stringing journey.

WHO CAN ATTEND:

You must be 18 or over. Juniors that have a parent or guardian present may also attend this course, we ask that the parent or guardian is present throughout the whole duration of the course.

LOCATION:

Our course will be held in our dedicated at Nick Rivett Sport, 64 Church Road, Hove, BN3 2FP this is a dedicated, quiet space where you will have no interruptions and is a calming and lovely environment to learn and spend time in.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

* Our course will be held at Nick Rivett Sport, 64 Church Road, Hove, BN3 2FP. Please arrive for the course 15 minutes prior to the start of the course so we can have a prompt 9.30am start. Unfortunately we can not accomodate you if you arrive any earlier than 15 minutes before, but there are many great coffee shops in the local area where you are able to wait.

* Unfortunately if you are late for the start of the course we are unable to extend the length of the training day.

*If you need to cancel your course booking we ask for a 48 hours notice as we will have other courses running and our teachers time has been scheduled accordingly. If you cancel with 48 hours notice you will receive a full refund, or we will happily re-schedule to a later date. Unfortunately if you cancel with less than 48 hours notice we will only refund 50% of the course cost.

* All payments are final and by completing your online order for our STRINGING FOUNDATIONS COURSE this means you have confirmed you understand the course structure and what you will receive in our 1 day course.

* We will not provide food or drink so please ensure you bring snacks/lunch. There are lovely local eateries in the area too.
We will provide hot or cold drinks.
